MISSION
VISION

Making our Lake Worth Beach Community a better and safer place by showing people Jesus Christ through faith, service, and love.

We believe God has given us a distinct vision to carry out our mission.

BE A CHURCH AS DIVERSE AS THE CITY WE SERVE:

Because Jesus loves the entire city, we work tirelessly to see every race, class, generation and gender of our community represented and reconciled in our church. Eph. 2:14

BE A CHURCH THAT PROSPERS THE CITY:

Because God has commanded us to prosper the city, we are most-focused on the things most-needed in our community. Jer. 29:7

BE A CHURCH PEOPLE WHO DON'T GO TO CHURCH LOVE TO ATTEND:

Because we want our guests to see Jesus, we place the burden of accommodation on ourselves as hosts instead of our guests. Acts 15:19

BE A CHURCH INDISPENSABLE TO THE YOUTH OF OUR COMMUNITY:

Because God has a plan for the lives of our youth, we strive to be the place-of-choice for youth in our community. 1 Tim. 4:12

BAPTISM

Baptism is a special gift from God for all, both young or old, where God sets his affection on us and makes everlasting promises to us. BUT, it’s only a beginning. It’s an incredible beginning, but it’s still a beginning. As parents or sponsors you will become the single most important figures in the journey that follows after your child’s or friends baptism. And we want to help you guide them on that journey. Whether you are expecting a child, ready to schedule a baptism for your child, or just have questions about baptizing infants, children, or adults please reach out with any questions.

At Our Savior Lutheran Church, we believe God gives us Holy Communion for the forgiveness of sins (Matthew 26:26-28) and the deepening of our relationship with Him and each other.

WHY DO WE TAKE COMMUNION?

OSL is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) and
the Florida-Georgia District of the LCMS. You can find much valuable information
at both sites about what Lutherans believe and do in the name of Christ.
